Thank your legislators for investing in the Clean Water Fund
In October of 2007, Governor Rell signed a bond bill into law that restores
$90 million to the Clean Water Fund this year and next!
Connecticut's Clean Water Fund is a vital part of the state's
commitment to cleaning up our rivers, streams and Long Island Sound.
Unfortunately, both the governor and Legislature have cut clean water
funding in past years. That's why Environment Connecticut worked with
activists and municipal leaders over the last two years to urge the
governor and legislature to restore the Clean Water Fund. Thank your state legislators for investing in cleaning up Connecticut's rivers, streams, and Long Island Sound. Follow these 3 easy steps to help out.
